It is equipped with the breathable, certified hip (lvl 1) and knee (lvl 2) protectors AirForce™ by SHIMA with 2-step height adjustment. GIRO 2.0 has the inner layer made of a combination of aramid and cooling fibres - DuraQL™, which will provide you with protection for the most vulnerable areas and good thermal comfort. Ergonomic 3D construction, elastic panels (knee and back areas) and a seamless Comfort+™ gusset greately enhance freedom of movement. For even better comfort, the GIRO 2.0 has been designed with a leg width adjustment and zippers at the bottom of the leg for quick putting on. Remember that the pockets for knee protectors are outside and with top zipper closure – thanks that you can quickly remove the protectors. LEG WIDTH ADJUSTMENT

The width adjustment on the leg used in these trousers increases the level of safety, significantly affects the comfort of use and guarantees a good appearance.

CONNECTING LOOP

Specially prepared loop at the back of the pants to fasten the jacket to the pants. Selected models of SHIMA jackets equipped with a loop with a clip can be connected to these trousers by putting the strap with the clip through the loop on the trousers which is an extension of standard belt loops.

The proper fitting is user responsibility. The garment should fit snugly but not too tightly: no discomfort should be caused by the clothing when taking your normal riding position and you must be able to reach the controls easily.

To determine the exact size correctly, measure close to the body. The meter should not be tight. When measuring, it' s recommended to wear only lightweight, fitted clothing and stand in a loose but upright position. To make the measurement more accurate, ask for assistance another person. If the measured values are between different sizes - always choose a larger size.

Instructions & Certificates

Wash or clean your garment following the washing instructions on the stitched label.

Remove the inner protectors before washing your garment and make sure to insert them again in the dedicated pockets after washing! Never tamper with the garment in any of its parts. When not in use, the garment must be stored in a dry and ventilated place. After use leave it dry in a well ventilated place, at room temperature.

Care Instructions for GIRO 2.0 PANTS:

• Machine wash in 30°C

• Do not bleach

• Dry cleaning possible

• Warm iron max 150°C

• Wash separately

• Wash inside out

To clean the protectors:

• Remove dirt with a damp cloth only; for heavier soiling use damp cloths or soft brushes with lukewarm water (max 40°C).

• Do not wash under running water

• Do not use hot water, solvents or other chemicals to clean the protector

• Use specific products for cleaning and maintaining leather

• Do not leave exposed to direct sunlight

• Do not leave it permanently exposed to high or low temperatures

• Do not use dryer or other heating devices

The GIRO 2.0 pants are equiped with the innovative inner layer DuraQL™ made from a blend of aramid and cooling fibres. It is placed in key areas to provide high resistance to abrasion and damage. Its cooling properties ensure that you stay comfortable whatever the weather - even on very warm days.

AirForce™ protection

GIRO 2.0 pants will provide you with perfect protection of your lower body. They are equipped with certified knee (level 2) and hip (level 1) protectors AirForce™ by SHIMA. They have the 2-step height adjustment - to increase your protection and comfort even more. Don't forget that the pockets for the knee protectors are located on the outside and are closed with a top zipper closure. This allows you to quickly and easily remove the protectors, turning the GIRO 2.0 into a casual pants for everyday use. The AirForce™ protectors and DuraQL™ layer guarantee excellent protection.

Cargo pockets

The GIRO 2.0 pants come with comfortable, large cargo type pockets which increase utility and give an unique look. They have also some standard pockets at the top, so GIRO 2.0 can be as casual as classic pair of denim pants. They are convenient for carrying items during day trips. To increase your comfort pants feature connecting loop for pairing it with SHIMA jacket equipped with a clip-on loop.
