CHASE is a jacket made of high-quality natural cowhide leather with elastic stretchable inserts at back, on the side and inside of the sleeve for maximum comfort. Flexible folding panels in accordion style allow the jacket to perfectly adapt to the body silhouette giving you the freedom of movement, while the extra fabric inside the panels provide additional protection. Equipped with external rigid slider on the shoulder area and set of certified protectors ensure excellent impact protection. The jacket is equipped with a long zipper and a short zipper for quick connection with CHASE trousers or any other SHIMA pants. The jacket features ventilation panels and safe localized perforation on leather in the elbow, chest and stomach areas and a ventilated fabric inside the arms to provide better air circulation. Reflective panels on the jacket increase visibility after dark. The fitting is slim, and for an even better match it has a width adjustment system on the sides and cuffs, with a special finishing technique that ensures softness of the cuff. CHASE is a city jacket with a sporty fit. In combination with dedicated trousers, CHASE creates a tasteful set with a versatile range of uses.

Pair of standard connecting zippers enable you to connect your SHIMA pants with SHIMA jackets. Use the 360° zipper for maximum safety, of the short zipper to increase comfort.

The suit gives you possibility to combine different size pants with different size of jacket using one of the compatible zipper. Thanks to standard connecting zippers you could also pair each one with other SHIMA products.

The proper fitting is user responsibility. The garment should fit snugly but not too tightly: no discomfort should be caused by the clothing when taking your normal riding position and you must be able to reach the controls easily.

To determine the exact size correctly, measure close to the body. The meter should not be tight. When measuring, it' s recommended to wear only lightweight, fitted clothing and stand in a loose but upright position. To make the measurement more accurate, ask for assistance another person. If the measured values are between different sizes - always choose a larger size.

Wash or clean your garment following the washing instructions on the stitched label.

Remove the inner protectors before washing your garment and make sure to insert them again in the dedicated pockets after washing! Never tamper with the garment in any of its parts. When not in use, the garment must be stored in a dry and ventilated place. After use leave it dry in a well ventilated place, at room temperature.

The CHASE jacket has been created for sports riders, suitable for both street and track. Made of high quality natural leather with DuoLayer Protection is a perfect safeguard for your body. Premium grade leather offers excellent insulation against abrasion when sliding on the street or track. Additional second layer of leather on shoulders and elbows guarantees an extra resistance to tearing. All materials have been connected with each other by using reinforced double, safe seams, which make the jacket durable.

For warm riding conditions

Sometimes all riders need a little fresh air. The CHASE jacket features safe localized perforations on the leather around the elbow, chest and abdomen areas. The perforated design makes the jacket suitable for warm weather conditions. For greater airflow it is equipped with ventilation panels on the upper chest and forearms, as well as a breathable elastic fabric inside the arms. All these features allow the air to flow freely enough while keeping you protected from abrasion and impacts.

Racing fit

The CHASE jacket has a precurved, ergonomic construction, which increases freedom of comfort and movement while riding. For greater mobility it features large accordion panels in key articulation zones at the elbows, waist and back. Numerous folds allow jacket to perfectly adapt to the body silhouette while the extra fabric inside the panels provides additional protection.

High speed security

Sports style enthusiasts don't just need leather jacket. They seek protection at both high and low speeds. CHASE is equipped with external shoulder sliders and internal certified armour for a high standard of protection. SHIMA ArmorPlus back protector, elbow and shoulder protectors are included. If you want to further extend your security, you can purchase an optional SAS-TEC chest protector.

Looking for full leather coverage? We recommend CHASE trousers to create a full stylish suit. The jacket has two types of zippers that allow you to quickly and comfortably combine it with any SHIMA pants. Don't forget about mix&match system which enables pairing different size pants with a jacket using compatible connecting zipper.
