OSLO WP LADY model is a new type of gloves in SHIMA's offer - short waterproof gloves. Thanks to the NextDry™ waterproof membrane you will never have to worry if it suddenly rains while riding. The membrane will keep your hands dry. Riding in wet conditions is also improved by the screen cleaner on your index finger. You can clean the helmet's visor without removing your glove or getting off the bike. OSLO WP LADY combines excellent protection, maximum comfort and a perfect fit. Incredible softness and comfort comes from a blend of durable outer fabric and goat leather on the palm, ArmorPlus foam panels (fingers and knuckles) and seamless Grip+™ 3D thumb construction. The V-Lock™ fastening makes it easy to adjust the glove to suit your wrist, which is also taken care of by the extended cuff with welt. OSLO WP gloves make motorcycling a pleasure - even if you get caught in the rain. You can also buy them in a men's version.

Protection

FOAM PADDED PANELS

The forearm and shoulder areas feature soft foam padding to improve protection. Situated in all the right places, the protective panels both look great and offer great protection.

V-LOCK™ FASTENING

Ergonomic and comfortable, the V-Lock wrist strap features is also designed to be safe. With its adjustment strap positioned at a 30-degree angle, and its buckle on the outer side of the glove, the V-Lock eliminates the need for endless tightening and ensures a good, firm fit, while ensuring your glove will never fall off thanks to its base-of-the-thumb strap placement.

To ensure the best possible protection and comfort while wearing the gloves, it is necessary to choose the right size.

The gloves must fit properly but must not exert pressure. With leather gloves, we advise a tighter fit because leather stretches after only a short period, following which it adjusts excellently to the hand. Winter gloves must be a little looser so that air can circulate through the insulation, thereby improving the way your hands are kept warm.

Proper care and cleaning ensure a long lifetime for your gloves. We recommend following instructions below to keep your favourite products in good condition as long as possible:

• Gloves should not be exposed to sunlight for lengthy periods.

• Gloves should not be exposed to high or low temperatures.

• Do not use solvents or toxic substances to clean the gloves.

• The gloves must never be modified or altered; this would detract from their protective effect.

• Gloves should be used only for the purpose for which they are intended.

• Damaged gloves must not be used, and must be replaced.

• Use a damp cloth to clean the gloves.

• The gloves may take some time to dry at normal ambient temperature, and under no circumstances must they be dried near heat sources (radiators, stoves, etc.); they must not be placed in direct sunlight.

• For stubborn stains, you may also use mild soap or special leather soap, or fabric cleaners.

• Leather gloves must be treated regularly with leather conditioning oil or grease.

• Gloves must be inspected regularly for wear and damage.

• Gloves must be completely dry before storage and they must be kept in a dry and well-ventilated location.

V-lock™ fastening

The V-Lock™ fastening is a solution which increases both safety and comfort. It is characterized by the ergonomic positioning of the strap at a 15° angle and the fact that the upper buckle is on the outer side of the glove. In addition, the strap goes over the thumb, which significantly reduces the risk of the glove slipping off during sudden contact with hard surfaces. Protection is a key advantage of the V-Lock™ fastening.

NextDry™ membrane and Screencleaner as a standard

OSLO WP LADY gloves are made for riding in the rain. Equipped with a NextDry™ 8000/8000 waterproof membrane, it will protect your hands from rain and moisture. And at the same time they let your skin breathe. The extended cuff with welt also prevents water from getting inside. Remember that with OSLO WP LADY gloves you have the possibility of cleaning the helmets visor. Synthetic suede on the outside of the index finger will help you remove water drops from it. All these elements make riding in wet weather much easier.

The Touch Tip™ panels in OSLO WP LADY gloves are the answer to the needs of our times. Special TouchTip™ panels are located on the thumb and index finger. Thanks to that you don't have to take the glove off when you want to use your smartphone. A functional and comfortable solution.
